Iris Hantverk is one of those rare companies that manage to impress us with everything that they do. Started back in the 19th century the company was originally based in Stockholm and each brush was made by hand by visually impaired craftsmen as a means to provide employment for the visually impaired.
Today, not much has changed. Now they work out of a place much more difficult to pronounce and their operation is a fair bit bigger, but their original values are intact and they maintain at least 5 visually impaired craftsmen making brushes according to an old Swedish method. The results of which are quite simply fantastic quality hand drawn brushes.
